Default Haven't looked around in a long time

My current monitor is an Acer AL2016W. She's a bit old, but has served me well. I'm thinking of upgrading, though. I usually don't game any higher than 1680x1050, although I'm not opposed to that it isn't entirely necessary. Something around 21-22" would be ideal.

Ideas?

Well I found this. Buy the LG W2343T-PF 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor at TigerDirect.ca

How do you people feel about LG? Is this a good deal? I'm probably going to end up with a 5870 in this build so 1920x1080 is probably a good target.

It looks like Dell has finally started producing their famous 2209WA panel again. It's probably a little more expensive than other 22" LCDs on the market, but that's because it uses an IPS (in-plane switching) panel instead of the TN (twisted nematic) panels littering the market. This means you get incredible colour accuracy and viewing angles without sacrificing responsiveness!

Sadly that's a little over budget. I'm only looking to spend about $250 max, maybe $300, but it does look very nice.

That LG is a 16:9 screen as opposed to 16:10. I am not a fan of 16:9 computer screens. As for picture quality... with the lower end units you really want to see them in person, but even that's not full proof. Reviews seem positive for that LG so *shrugs*. The Dell was on sale sometime ago for $200. Whether or not we'll see that kind of discount again is doubtful but you might see it at $100 off which would put it into your budget if you feel like waiting a while.
