Good 24" LCD?

Well, it seems nobody writes review for these things anymore...well, the main consumer ones that we cherish most. I am debating between several monitors, all with their pros and cons. Here is a list:

The Philips is on special at random, and while it's an IPS panel, many are having trouble with the half green/half red syndrome on their monitor. I am willing to pay more for this kind of panel, though it has to be at this amazing price (hard to find I know).

Now I like simple. Touch of Colour on the T240HD is alright, but with the desk I have it sits kind of low so HAS is preferable. I would also prefer just a thin matte black panel, unless you can convince me otherwise. HDMI I'm not too sure about as I am on and off about purchasing a PS3 Slim and I don't have a receiver with HDMI .

Then again, if you have any other monitors to recommend give me a shout. Someone wants to buy my 226BW that I've been in love with since I bought it, but it's time to go bigger. Let me know!

I'm using a 2443BW here at work, and it's a pretty great panel, especially considering it's listing for like $350 now. I think that the 2443BW and the T240HD use the same panel, but the matte black casing and HAS make it a bit more appealing in my eyes. I bought a Dell 2408WFP a while ago, and have been drooling all over it ever since, but you'll also end up paying quite a premium for it over just another TN panel. It's a PVA panel as well, so it might just be worth it to get the Philips IPS if you can get a better deal on it.

One site that I can really recommend for monitor comparisons is DigitalVersus, which is affiliated with Tom's Hardware in some way. They have a reasonable amount of data for monitors, and they make it easy to compare specs side by side to help you make a decision.

Well, I pulled the trigger and bought the Philips 240PW9EB. Looks like only a couple people have has the red-green issue. FiXT, did you buy yours?

Did you get it at that sweet sale price??? Should serve you well :) Only thing that sucks about it is that it only has 1 DVI and 1 VGA

Meh. I'm only using the computer with it. The rest is on my TV.

You should also look at NCIX again. They still have an amazing price on it :).
