Default What kind of video card is needed for this LCD TV

I am in the process of getting a HD TV screen that will be hook up directly on my computer for game/movie/tv.
The current video card I have is a 8800 GTX manualy overclocked and water cooled at 2250MHz/655MHz.

I was wondering if I will have problem running a 42po ACL screen at 1080p with a resolution of 1 920 x 1 080 to play games and watch movies etc..and use the second D-DVI connector to run a 19po monitor at the same time.

Sharp Aquos 1080p 42" LCD HDTV** (LC42D72U)

I will post here and in the video card section sorry about the dual post.
Modo delete the post you want if you think one of them is useless and located in the wrong place.

Thank you to provide feedback.

I can't imagine how you could possibly have any problems with a killer graphics card like you have, especially overclocked! I use an AIW X800XT 256MB to run my 27 inch monitor at 1920 x 1200, and still get some good gaming, superb DVD playback, and good T.V. viewing.

Make sure you have DVI input on the HDTV - MANY DON'T. I had considered 32 inch TVs when shopping, and noticed I would have needed a DVI to HDMI adaptor or cable. These can be expensive, but if you shop you can find some around 40$, maybe less. That will depend on the output of your 8800 GTX anyway.

Another issue could be response time; I get 5 ms out of mine which is great for gaming. See if you can find anything on the subject. If you want good gaming, I wonder how fast is best. Not sure if 12 ms is good. Can't help much here but encourage you to research the subject and finding out how fast this HDTV is. It doesn't say on its website, but perhaps if you download the manual it will say, or Google it.
