Default LG W2252TQ vs BenQ T241W

Hey guys I'm looking for some opinions.

I currently have an LG W2252TQ 22" monitor. Its specs are:

Resolution: 1680 x 1050
Brightness: 300 cd/㎡
Response Time: 2ms (GTG)
Contrast Ratio: 10000:1 DFC (Original 700:1)

So far I enjoy it, however, I'm looking for a monitor with higher resolution.

I found a refurbed 24" BenQ T241W monitor for ~ $200 with the following specs:

1920 x 1200 Native Resolution
Response Time 5 ms
Brightness 250 cd/m2
Contrast Ratio 1000:1

I realize the contrast ratio and response time are significantly lower with the BenQ, but I'm drooling at the resolution it offers.

What do you guys suggest? I like the idea of increasing the resolution, but is it worth $200?

Thanks for all your input.

the new monitor looks ok, but the response time is slower, and remember, since the native res for that BenQ monitor is more than the LG, games won't run as fast considering bigger resolutions are more resource-intensive, especially on newer games. I would personally stick with the 22" LG you have right now, it isn't really worth paying 200$ for 2 more inches.

My System Specs

+1 to Dimre01. You might not be able to max out every game u play using 19XX resolution using the 4870.
