Default Help me pick a LCD monitor...

Can I get some recommendations for a decent LCD monitor 22" or larger for around $350?

Depends on what you are looking for you can get a good Samsung 24" for that price, if you don't mind a TM panel of course. I've been extremely happy with both my Samsungs (a 226BW and a 24" 2493HM) and have no problem recommending them. If you want a higher end panel check out Dell. If you don't need it right away then wait a while as Dell frequently has sales on them. I believe they still carry either IPS or MVA in 22"s.

Sorry for the quick post... I was being called to go somewhere and had to hurry.

I'll be using the monitor mostly for graphics work, but also some gaming, browsing, ect...
Colours must be fairly accurate, and decent view angle would be nice too.
I'd really like to find a screen that can be rotated and used in vertical orientation.
Even a 20" inch would be ok if it could do vertical.

Default ASUS VW266H 25.5IN $315 (AR)

You might consider the ASUS VW266H 25.5IN Widescreen LCD Monitor 1920X1200 20000:1 2MS VGA DVI HDMI.
At NCIX it's listed at $369 (ar) but you can try to PM at NCIX the
Infonec $315 ( ar) price or Newegg.ca $319 (ar) price.
Plus at NCIX there is currently free shipping when you add a $10 giftcard and you can also get Zero dead pixel Express coverage.
I got one 3 months ago and really like it.
VK266H (same monitor with built-in Webcam is $329 at Infonec and may be a possible PM at NCIX.

That ASUS looks nice.
Will keep that one in mind for sure.

What about LCDs that rotate to vertical orientation?
Would it damage a fixed horizontal monitor to mod it so it rotates?
