So i was wondering the Dell 2408WFP is the build exactly like the 3008WFP except for the size and price tag right

And what do you use your 30-inch for? I remember you saying you were doing some graphic for some company
It's wasn't really 2k, I negotiated it for US$1200 including shipping and the guy paid customs fees for me (!), this was the first time someone did it in my US importing history. Also he used express shipping by FedEx both times, it costs over $200 to ship such large package one way. This is his store ubiquitouspcsolutions.com

As long as Dell 2408WFP is not TN-panel, it should be good.

I use 30er for design and concept art for games. At first I used dual-monitor setup, but couldn't calibrate different makes to have the same colour. One large monitor provides better consistency.

Fan art inspired by movie "The Ring":

Wow, great deal indeed.

Thanks for Sharing once again

So hows the White on that IPS panel? You can probably stare at it longer than you would on a TN panel

Great wallpaper too, but kinda small don't you think?

I just found out the 3008WFP ISP 24inch counter part is the Dell U2410, since there both IPS monitors.

wow, getting a 3008 for the price of 2707 has probably the same chance of being struck by lightning, congrats!

I had a choice between going i7 or buying this monitor, and so far this investment pays me better than an extra CPU power would have been.

It was no big gift from Dell. When I puchased the 2707 when they first came out I paid $1600cdn plus shipping. As far as I am concrened, Dell still owes me .I bought more stuff from them than Wak Mart.Did I say that right? I have a 730x,my wife has a XPS Gen4 and a XPS720.One for regular comp.and the 720 for gaming.Of course,Her CPs are hand me downs. When you think about it,she owes me just as much as Dell does.I will remind her of that when I have a lot of time.
