BenQ E2200HD: Good Monitor? Hey guys, Anitec's having a sale right pricing these at $199.95 and it seems to have great reviews. I just wanted your advice on whether to spring for this or if there's any other monitors you all would recommend in the ~$200 range? |
im asking myself the exact same questions. All the reviews seem to say this is a good monitor for gaming and movies, but I'd love some actual opinions on it from anybody here that has one. |
I think it depends on how good a monitor you are looking for. If you are looking for a cheap monitor but are not expecting super high quality for everything then it is a decent monitor. I bought one in november and since I don't have particularly high standards for my monitor (I don't do anything like image editing and video editing) I am very happy with mine. |
yup, all i would want from it is gaming (mianly PC) I dont do any image editing so im more worried about response times and unput lag and it seems to be very good for that. |
Ditto with ragenrok, the only image editing I do is for quick gags :haha: |
From what ive read these are decent monitors for the price, I would perfer to go with samsung or LG though as im not a big fan of Benq. LG W2242TQ-BF 22IN Widescreen LCD Black 2MS 1680X1050 8000:1 300CD/M2 VGA DVI Tilt Monitor - DirectCanada this ones nice but it doesnt come with the higher res. but I dont have much problems with playing anything at 1650x1080, just personal preference. Im sure the benq would be just fine for a $200 monitor. |
For 22" TN panels these are probably the highest rated currently. BenQ X2200W Viewsonic VX2262WM HP W2207 Samsung T220 |
Ended up getting an Acer X223H when I was at Anitec looking at the ones on display. Nice sharp picture and even HDMI and hi-def if I ever want to start using it for an HTPC. It's about $20 more but worth it in the long run, I think. |
