Default What's a good 24" LCD?

I just got myself a Samsung t240 24" LCD and whenever I turn the brightness below 85% it starts buzzing(probably the PWM signal for the backlight). It's not that loud but it is just the right frequency to be really annoying, like sitting in front of a neon sign except quieter. So I think I'm going to return it and get something else. Can anyone recommend a good 24" lcd? I'm using it for gaming, so any input lag or high response times are a no-no. My budget is around $450.

Edit: I believe a friend of mine has this one: NCIX.com - Buy LG L246WH-BN 24IN Widescreen LCD Monitor Black 5MS 2000:1 400CDM Height Adjust Tilt HDMI - L246WH-BN In Canada. does anyone here own that?

Dell's 24" is a wonderful gaming and everyday use monitor. I tell you. Look onto it on google and search for reviews.

E2400HD is a good choice as well. Doesnt scale at 16:10 like the other 1080p monitors, has a 16:9 aspect so no black bars when watching movies or playing you console.

That and I head that the T240 is a good choice at the right price.

Both can be had around 350ish with rebates and so on

On second thought, I'm just going to stick with my T240. It seems like a lot of backlight drivers can make buzzing noise, maybe I just have sensitive ears. Plus, once I get my new build set up I won't be able to hear it over the case fans(I'm running it off a very quiet laptop at the moment.)

I picked up this Samsung 2443BW 24" on sale at FS for $313....very happy with it. I had one of the Sammies (22") T smething or other and hated the oval pedastal....it was like having a "bobble-head" on my desk...when you bumped the desk...tttttwwwwaaaannnnggggg...and it would go on forever. This one has a rectangular pedastal, much better!
