Default 32" - 42" in 1080p

I'm considering what TV I want to get...probably something in the Sharp Aquos line, between 32" and 42" ($999.99 would probably be my uppermost limit I can afford). I'm not sure if I want something that will be on a desk as in a PC monitor/TV or if I'm going to mount it on the wall. If I'm mounting it on the wall, I can see myself going with something like a 42" simply because I'll probably be sitting some 10 or more feet away from it. I've learned from Vortex just how sweet a 32" is as a PC monitor...so if I decide to go that route, that's what I'll do.

anyhow, that aside, what I'm most curious about is what the 1080p looks like stretched across 42" vs. what it looks like stretched across 32"...and how far away you need to sit from a 42" to lose noticeability of that apparent difference?

also...considering my uppermost budget limit, aside from the Sharp Aquos 42" (which BestBuy has on for $999 currently), what other options would you suggest considering?

well on my 52" sammy 750 it is incredibly awesome at 1080p 120hz/ crystal clear/

but i found it way 2 hard 2 game on bcause i had 2 move my eyes around 2 much 2 see the whole screen at about 4'/

and when i sat further back about 10' it was harder 2 get into the game

so i got a 32" sammy 550 and a wall mount and moved gammin comp into spare bedroom / office gammed on it abit and im luvin the 32" 4 the comp/ very clear and easy on the eyes 4 internet 2

if it mostly used 4 comp i would suggest a 32" max

Tried the 32" Aquoa on the desk, it was good, switched to the 37" Aquos on the wall it is great. The 1080p Aquoa 37" is $899 at FS and they will add a wall mount for $30.
