As stated in the review the 9450 was only included to show what the "new" C2D was capable of. My q9450 main rig runs 2003 and XP and I refuse to install Vista on it. No vista = no vantage and no dx10 (thus no games benchies)....plus it "only" has a 7300 GPU which would have handicapped it ;) The reason it is not in the power usage test is it runs a CoolIT elite (which draws lots more watts on avg more than a Vendetta 2) and thus would not have been fair.

Is it better than a q6600? Oh yeah! Well worth the upgrade.

i see... i dont realize that q9450 is tested under win xp... too bad...

i owned a q9450 ^_^;

and free vantage from mushkin ram ;[
