I concur, god that's one sexy board! Will they accept Canadian Tire money as a down payment for one when it hits Canuck side?

Have you got past 600 FSB yet without exotic cooling?

Can any cpus tolerate that kind of 600+FSB with just ambient water or do they need something else?

yeah 620FSB is benchable with this CPU but past 600FSB requires a special CPU. keep in mind, this board is 600FSB benchable at PL9 with reasonable vMCH and the stock cooling right out of the box. the screenshots showing the FSB in the FSB section are with basic air cooling.

sorry for the lack of updates guys...the memory clocking is a nightmare with this board. there seems to be some pretty big incompatibilities with D9GTS/GTR, and guess what memory i only own? D9JNM/D9JNL seems to just scream on this board though so i might have to get something to really push the boards memory clocking. i am pretty much moving on from memory clocking though because ASUS doesn't appear to have a new BIOS with better compatibility on its way. expect some 3D benches this week

Have you been putting this on Water? What kind of of temps are you getting ? I heard it runs very hot on water also.

no i haven't gone with water cooling on the motherboard yet but the reports are that even going with water on the Fusion block doesn't really help. modifying the stock cooling to get a tighter mount seems to be the key and works for some to get much better temperatures. removing the stock cooling all together and going with aftermarket cooling seems to be the best.

i will be testing various cooling options in the review and the results should give us a good idea of what works, what doesn't, and what is required to keep this chipset cool. it does run a little on the warm side though but with a little bit of active cooling, it is just fine with the stock setup.

sorry for the lack of results boys but i have been stoopid busy at work and trying to get another MB review out. with the other MB being spit out right now, it will be all RE all the time from here on out. and just to get me back in the mood, i went and grabbed a pair of ladies to play with...

one card done volt mods and testing...

the other right before it went under the irons...

nothing like some late night modding to get a guy ready for benching. expect HD4850 CF numbers to start popping up soon. here is just a brief test with the setup still all air...

The cards don't appear to be that strong but 800MHz core and 1075MHz memory seem to be do-able for consistent benching with reasonable volts on air. Here is where I am at so far in 01...cracked 93K
