I'm not sure what you're asking......

AM2 chips should be available for quite some time... it's us S939 owners who are quickly losing our options.

It is a promotional price, so I'd expect that they'll have more after this stock is gone, but the price might not be as good.....

Tigerdirect have a X2 3800+ OEM for 99.97$ for socket 939 user

or the retail version for 146$

i got ass wooped, i ordered one last week (at that time they only had the OEM version for 133$) thinking that it was the lastest dc cpu for us 939 user but i got right

BTW tigerdirect is on of the only online store ,that still have 939 DC cpu, and ship to canada

MysteryByte Computers has 4200s for $178. (I can't direct link because of the setup of the frames on their web site).

You can also get 3800 dc from tigerdirect's mobo+cpu deals which @ $139 for a 6100 onboard vid chipset might make it a lot easier to sell your current single core S939 if you bundle it with the mobo.

I'm currently looking at my options.....

With the E6420's out I'm considering putting out some feelers for my current mobo/cpu/mem combo.

If I can get $300 for the lot, I just might stop waiting for AMD to release something decent and move over to dark side while the going's good.

The only thing that's really holding me back is the crazy prices on good 775 mobos......

I'm going to have a look to see if there are any decently priced OC'ing S775 mobos tonight.....

I'm curious.... are you building a completely new rig?

You wouldn't see much improvement with a X2 over your opty. (Wish I'd bought one up when I had the chance.....).
