Default good 939 motherboard and case for opteron 165

Hi all,
Any ideas on a good 939 ATX motherboard for overclocking an opteron 165 to about 2.4ghz? Do they have any 939 micro-ATX boards that will do the job? Whats a good case for the ATX board....looking at around $300 max for case and board.
cheers,
magictorch

As for a motherboard I recommend the DFI LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR - $156.88 at Direct Canada

I recommend this case Coolermaster Centurion 534 ATX Tower Case - $5292 at Direct Canada

Heh......

Yeah, it's a bit pricy, but it guarantees an extra 100 mhz on the OC..... :)

The DFI's did a wonderful job of OC'ing S939 procs.

Where did you get your hands on an opti?

I agree, DFI Ultra D, SLI, or Expert are the best 939 ocing boards.

Default good advice

Hi, sounds good-ill try and get the DFI board hopefully it wont become too difficult to get in the near future. Seems to be a lot of 939 stuff dissapearing fast. I got the opteron from tiger direct $220-made last month 2007, stepping wsnt CCBE but a guy who got the same 2007 chip found it easily went to 2.4ghz on stock cooling. I'm not wanting anything much from it-just to hold steady. Came with a huge copper 4 pipe heatsink and fan! shame it wont work in my crappy emachines....but its got me interested in building one up now.
cheers.
