If it were me, I'd try (not too sure how successful I'd be.... ) to convince myself to invest in some good DDR2 ram & a PSU for future considerations.

It hurts like hell to spend money on something like the DDR2 which can't be used right away, but it saves on the outlay when you're finally ready to take the full plunge.
Waiting sucks, but sound like the option, bf2 is runnin ok as it is.Thought the Seasonic brand was a good one ,bought it before finding HWC

Bad deal for vendors stuck with higher end Optys and so forth , big price, less worth against Intel true ?

If you've had a chance to see some of the specs on the new ATI cards you'll probably come to the conclusion that a 500W psu isn't going to cut it in the near future.

Seasonic does have a pretty good name, but if'n I had the cash I'd be investing in a PC Power & Cooling with a big fat single 12V line.... :)

I wouldn't spend too much on RAM though- for comparison, start by looking at 2GB OCZ platinum pc6400 for $175 at NCIX whioch is a great deal, and then see how good you can do for 260 or less in terms of latency. You can get some good RAM for that price if you watch the specials at NCIX or here.

RAM is at a very low point in pricing right now, and will be going up again later in the year. that OCZ RAM is almost 100 bucks cheaper than it was just at Christmas.

I would definitely recommend buying all at the same time. You save on the shipping and you will get to install everything at the same time instead of having things sitting around that way.
