Default Is the striker 2 extreme worth the money?
Is the striker 2 extreme really worth the extra money I was also looking at the xfx 790i ultra. and there is about the 200 dollar difference.
Aslo I previously had a striker extreme and found it was perforated with bugs and issues is it the same?

If you have no plans on SLI, get a motherboard based on the X38 or X48 chipset. Much more stable IMO.

I think the ASUS costs a premium because it comes with that waterblock, SupremeFX sound, etc. All those accessories add up in price, plus its the only non-reference 790i motherboard out right now.

What are your needs/wants out of the board?. Most high end boards are way overpriced for the small amount of extra features that most of us can do with out.
