Default Kijiji Intel Retail Edge deals?

So has anyone bought any of the 4770K or 4930K chips all over Kijiji now?

Rumour has it they are bottom binned and don't overclock well?

$300 for the 4770K seems to be the going price, seems like a good deal, most are still even sealed.

Around $400 for the 4930K seems to be a better deal if you need a 6 core.

Intel RE chips are retail chips. Intel doesnt bin retail chips...beyond making sure that they meet min specs for 4770K...and ones that fail become 4770 or lower. TBH they have nothing to gain at this point from binning 4 series CPUs and picking the worst for RE 'sales'. IE its luck of the draw just as it always has been.

You can technically report them to Intel though, as you are not legally allowed to resell them as per the terms and conditions

The past three or four RE deals havnt been nearly as good of 'deals' unless you're keeping it for your own upgrade. Is $300 really that good a price for a 4770? A new 4790 is 340 (plus taxes yes), but still...

The days of sweet low priced i7 970's and 80gb SSDs seem to have jumped the shark at RE. Le sigh.

I like to support my local Canada Computers and NCIX to be honest anyway. Was just curious if anyone got any of these. Thanks!

I think it was closer to $200 for the 4770K.

You're correct. I was quoting $300 from OP's secondary market pricing. RE was $195 American unless you were a rockstar...Plus exchange (12.5%), plus duty & shipping of around $40 last time iirc. So its about $250-260 your cost to the door now.

Mine gott. I've got to make friends with someone that has a RE account .

Edit: Before anyone jumps all over me with the TOS, I know it's not allowed etc., I just have employee pro deal envy .
