Question Rive-BE Usb issue?

Has anyone else notice alot of heat build up on Usb drives after transfering data from Usb 3? Reason I ask is my mushkin 64Gb drive was actually to hot to handle after I transferred 25Gb of data to it. I used the Usb 3 from my front panel on my Cosmos II Case.

Apparently their new bios version 0603 fixes this problem.
