Default H87-G43-GAMING motherboard pci express problem

Hi,

I have the H87-G43-GAMING motherboard which if you check the manual

https://www.dropbox.com/s/7eais2hl3n...ING%29EURO.pdf (page 17)

you will see that it has 2 PCIe 3.0 x16. Recently i bought another graphic card to crossfire and i noticed that the second card runs at only PCIe 2.0 x4. (And yes iam sure that i have put it in the correct slot).

Image of the second card in CCC https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ekej9vlifc2tt6/Capture.PNG
Bios shows the same thing.

What is wrong?

Thanks in advanced

Not even a z87 board (unless it has a PLX chip) will do x16 x16

The up-side is even at PCI-E 3.0 x4 you shouldn't be bandwidth limited anyway.. or at least not much.
