He got 1866 i offered up my 2400 till some faster stuff went on sale. But the board oddly says it maxes at 1866 :s

I woulda bought kirbster's cherry Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4 if I lacked self-control. Waiting on the new A88X boards, though - I'm hearing good things about the F2A88X-UP4.

I'm still having lots of fun with FM1, though!

The HTPC will probably be due for and upgrade by the time A88X is out. It seems like the natural upgrade path, too.

Yeah, I've got my home server/HTPC setup with a 6800K - mATX board/case with room for 8 HDDs + SSD boot drive and no GPU makes for a pretty nice, compact setup.

What temperature monitoring software are you folks using for A series APUs? This zotac shipped without any motherboard software, coretemp isn't showing any temp at all, and speedfan reports something stupid like 124c........
