Default i7 3770 prob with cores !!!!

hello

i am having difficult time with 3770 as Intel suggest that 3770 uses 1 and 2 core at 3.9 GHz and 4 core at 3700 MHz at full load .. but my 3770 is running at 4 cores even the system usage is 5 % why this is happening and the temps iam getting also is 55c to 60c !!! are temp going rise if the cpu uses 4 cores iam using asus h77 v and 650 psu '
Also i have check bios setting ....when the CPU cores is at 1600mhz it shows CPU temp idle to 39-41c but when there is no load just 10-12% the CPU core frequency is at 3700.mhz and cpu temps at 55-60c and using prime95.. shows temps at 65-67c at 100% CPU usage.. using 212 hyper evo with dual fan please help....

My System Specs

did you try removing the cooler and reseating it? maybe bad contact or bad thermal compound coverage.

I HAVE REAPPLIED THE THERMAL PASTE WITH THE RICE METHOD .. AND ALREADY USING DUAL FAN FOR COOLING.. but iam not getting that when there is no load just 5-12% why CPU core frequency is at 3700.mhz

Hi new to the board but I thought I'd chime in here

My 3770 with an Asus board I need to have power management set specifically else turbo only ever peaks @ 3700

EIST on
C1E on
C3 off
C6 report on
C7 off

- these settings are the only ones I've found allows max turbo of 3900 using cpuz...
- min proc in power management if using win7 and below needed to be less than 100%... balanced in 8 if min/max not in profile if my memory serves me correctly - this box is now Slackware...
