Gaming upgrade

Sup guys,

been out of the game for some time, kinda lost in all the new CPUs. But it's time to upgrade my gaming rig. OFC my GPU need upgrade too, but, budget wise, i'll wait for it. Is this bundle worth it ?

NCIX Bundle Deal Intel Core i5 3570K Quad Core Processor & Gigabyte Z77-HD4 ATX USB3.0 Motherboard

Kingston HyperX Blu Black Series 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1600 CL10 DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit

I play all kind of game, from MMO to FPS, but currently BF3 is giving me problems (CPU runs @ 100%). Budget is under 500$.

Thanks for your inputs.

you can get the Asrock extreme4 for $140 after pm + $30 MIR ASRock Z77 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard

the i5-3570k is around $230 so the total comes to about the same price. Also if you're just planning on playing games, I'd stick with 8gb of ram. With ram prices going up you can save a lot of cash by just getting 8gb.

It looks good to me, I think i5-2500k's are still $220

Just for games, 2x4GB is loads, 2x2GB is almost not enough, 2x8 is total total waste of $$ for games. 8 is perfect
