I'll be interested to hear what you clock the 3770k to. I did have my 930 stable at 4.2 but with my Noctua air cooling, 4.0 was just more peace of mind. The i5-3570k and i7-3770k both seem to be 4.6 - 4.8 capable on air so that 0.6 to 0.8 boost should be noticeable.

I will. The Noctua is an amazing HSF even though the base could if been machined better. I don't expect much if any improvement with water cooling, just like the looks of it. I'm not going to crossfire at this time and am holding off for the 690 for a steal if a deal or just pick up a 680. Not sure yet. Just waiting for my sleeving to come in:) .
