Faulty PCIe slot?
My friend has one of this motherboard:https://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...roduct=4064886 ,according to him when he turns his pc on the gpu fans doesn't seem to work on both of his gpus, any idea what is causing this problem?

GPUs: BFX 9600gt oc and gefoce610, (6pin psu connected to gpu)
PSU: CM500watts
CPU: Amd athlon

If he has both of those cards in there (I am assuming one is for PhysX), then I doubt it is a PCI-E slot issue. I'm thinking power issue if both won't work. Is there another PSU to test?

Like Soul said it sounds to me like the PSU, does it beep or post? And also try with only one card as well, could be a dead gpu.

the board as only 1 PCI-E 16X where the second GPU is connected ?
