Zotac Z68ITX-A-E vs ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE for Win8
So, I currently have the Zotac Z68ITX-A-E with Win8. Here's the problem, the USB3 and network drivers don't work very well. The usb3 ones don't work at all and the network drivers corrupt everytime the machine goes to sleep/hibernate/turns off in any way. When the wifi driver is corrupt, win8 spends all of its time in kernel mode (why and doing what? I have no clue) and makes the system totally unusable.

Zotac support is HORRENDOUS ("please wait several weeks" - a month after windows 8 was released). There ARE win8 drivers, but the wifi one just keeps corrupting as described above (unless an update has actually been released - didn't notice a version number change at all).

will the ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE offer better win8 support?

is this an issue with just my mobo? are others with z68 mobos suffering too? I've only installed win8 on others' Z77 systems and they've been completely fine.

He gave you the best answer! What more do you want.

Driver stability is NOT something to hope for in a new OS just not going to happen.

...but that wasn't even my question....

"will the ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE offer better win8 support?"

Really depends on everything in your system.. unfortunately there is no straight answer.. Your always going to find people with problems no matter what and even more so with newer os's.
Do yourself a favour and go back to Win7 if you can(without buying a new copy) and try again in 6 - 10 months on win8.

I certainly wouldn't be buying a new motherboard because of instability in a new OS.
But if your set on it your best bet will probably be to look on each manufacturers boards and see which is having the more issues / giving the best help.
