i5 or i7 folding performance?
I'm going back and forth trying to decide on a new platform, trying to figure out cost/performance.
I game on my PC, but I also fold whenever not gaming. PPD is important to me, and likely worth the extra money for an i7.
How many PPD do you Intel folders get with a i5 2500K or 3570K, and how much do you get with an i7 2600K or 3770K?
I get that the i5 2500/3570K are all good enough for gaming, but if the i7 gets 10-15K more PPD, it would be worth the extra $$$ to me!
For comparison, my 1055t gets 10-15K ppd (depending on WU and GPU workload)
