My System Specs

Default Am I that out of the AMD world that I missed a Opteron Launch

4300 CPU's are out. Apparently they will work with my C32 setup and have way faster clock speeds. Big question is why did I not see anything about this launch other then a bios update and a email from a rep asking if I needed 2 4386's for $600 to upgrade my server :S.

Anyone know anything about them? are they worth their major price tag over my 4280's ???

I wasn't aware of the 43xx or 63xx opterons being released either. I dunno how available they are for regular joes. There's a 4386 on U.S. ebay for 386. Not sure if its worth it or even how much of an improvement over 42xx chip they offer.

I can't say I read anything about these either (though I don't really follow server class CPU). I am sure you have browsed around the web by now, but if not it seems it was a 4 December launch. I found a few references. Here is one with a bit of info including pricing.
