Only when non oc

***guess i should add some comment.

If you want overall higher performance then ivy has better performance cpu and mem due to better imc. you might even get better ram frequency's out of current ram i'm not guaranteeing that or anything but could happen if you have a good set.

Imc capable of 3000+ typically if ram is willing/board chosen.

My question is why? i have a 930 @ 4.0 here on guest pc and it does everything quite well tbh. games run above needed fps ect.

If your on a budget of any type i say save your $ for xmas shopping and family if its just gaming buy a new vidcard don't buy into the pci-e 3.0 hype its a non increase atm.

With how easily overclocked the 920 is, I'd wait for haswell and if you need it, dump 40 bucks on a good cooler for it. Hyper 212, a Prolimatech or something similar will get you some solid temps out of it.

hes already at 4.0 he wont get alot"any" more from any hyper 212 --

that said 4.0 is solid as hell for gaming like i said before.

it has 4cores 4 hyperthreads. and tons of bclock which helps alot.

not saying its faster than a oc sandy or ivy. but makes me wonder when anything better is relevant.

i should point at my sig- i have all 3 heavily oc on air -
