Which motherboard? FM1 Socket

I really like the ASUS because 1) I'm an ASUS fanboi, 2) it has more RAM slots than the other two 3) more expansion slots 3) more back I/O ports

However, it is limited to Sata 3Gb/s -- I'm planning on using an SSD for the boot drive of this rig, so....this will probably limit me.

The AsRock board has Sata 6Gb/s and USB 3.0, but I'm not entirely sure of the build quality vs. the ASUS.

Grr, the lack of choice with this platform really sucks balls!

I'm almost tempted to go with the Gigabyte because Sata 6Gb/s means more to me than USB 3.0

Asrock make good boards, they just aren't popular in Canada. It's got the best options, I'd pick that one.

if you are buying a processor two ,then I would go for a AMD A-10 5800K CPU and a ASRock FM2A75 Pro-4 FM2 for $199 ,the IGP is pretty fast for on board graphics.It is 15% to 25% faster then the fastest Llano GPU and puts intel HD 4000 away.It has the fastest IGP around and can be overclock to a 1000mhz from the 800mhz stock.But if you are going to use a high end graphic card then you are better off getting a i3-3220 as for as performance goes.

I've already picked up an A6 Llano. I may have a line on an ASUS F1A75M-Pro....if it comes through, that's what I'll go for.
