Default Gigabyte B75M-D3H for low-power NAS?

Hello all,

I came across the Gigabyte B75M-D3H when looking around on the NCIX website. Right now, it's bundled with the i3-2120 for only $164.99.

I've been itching to build an inexpensive low-power NAS and was thinking this could do the trick. Based on the info I could find about the board, including this review, it looks good. It's mATX form factor and has 6 sata (1x sata 3, 5x sata 2). I don't know anything about the B75 chipset though.

Would this mobo work for a low-power NAS?

Thanks!

Unless you plan on running only up to 3 storage drives or using a RAID card the 4 sata ports is a draw back to this mobo and would have me personally shying way from it. Where exactly are these extra 2 sata ports hidden?

It was the white on white background making me think it was a random cutout.
