Post Motherboard for under $150?

Well I've been considering about getting a gaming rig and I was wondering, what mothercoards are there that are under 100 and are half decent, I've been looking at the Asus M5A99X as that seems like a good motherboard, but then I thought what about gigabyte and MSI? so I was wondering which one do I get? It needs crossfirex support just in case I get a second GPU in the future, don't really care about USB 3.0, SATA 3 would be nice, but not needed.

So yeah, thanks, Dave :P

I'm less impressed with Gigabyte's ~$100 boards in 2012 then I was 4-5 years go. MSI and Asus both have strong ~$100 boards. Find the cheapest board that meets your feature requirements. They'll all perform equally for gaming.

MSI or ASUS are the only boards i'll buy these days. The MA99x evo is a good board and on the msi side a gd-65 is usually a good buy.

I've just found the GD65 but I'm not sure which to go for the M5A99X or the GD65?

Whatever is cheaper or flip a coin. The biggest difference between the two is expansion slots. The Asus has 3 PCI-e 16x lanes and the MSI has 2. The MSI makes up for that by sporting 4 PCI-e 1x lanes, while the Asus has 2.
