Default Disadvantages 2500k + z77?

I'm wondering are there any disadvantages pairing a i5-2500k with a Z77 mobo?

Only disadvantage is you won't have PCI-E 3.0.

I see, that's limited by my CPU. It's kay because I feel like switching my current mobo to an Asrock to fit my colour scheme. Then possible future CPU upgrade, thanks for the fast reply!
