If I remember corerctly, the main difference is that the p8z77-v deluxe has better power delivery (16 + 4 + 2 )than the sabertooth (8 + 4 + 2).

I'm not so sure that's true. The top of the line Maximus series uses the same (8+4+2) phases as the Sabertooth. If you listen to the Asus rep the systems with less phases have larger chokes that use more amperage but never says if one system is better than the other.

All the Asus boards OC well so you should concentrate on the features you need and want.

Both are excellent overclockers. My Z77 sabertooth took my 2500k to 4.5 stable without breaking a sweat. That said, you can't go wrong with either one.
