Will Vishera FX 8350 be better than intel cpus in gaming ? and when will it realese

No one knows. Intel has got quite a lead in the CPU department so i'ts very unlikely, but we can all endlessly speculate while only tests and reviews will tell the whole story.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who really want's to see a competition here rather an domination.

When paired up with a graphics card, absolutely NOT. If you are comparing IGP to IGP, yes, absolutely.

Q3/Oct is the suposivly rumored launch timeframe.

IF ya go based on the tom's comparision of the mobile part vs desktop, theoreticaly its supost to be 15-20% faster then bulldozer. But again as I am shure sky would agree, how piledriver preforms on the 1090 chipset n older 990 will tell how much better it is. Will AMD ever be faster in gaming .... probly not for some time now or more so unless intels finaly ending its cycle .... which to me I feel they are doin so & ivy just proved it.

Also if they can keep it priced where it is, have stock at launch & said preformance, there will be sales.

If it's a significant improvement over the six Core Thubans, then I could see myself upgrading. If not, then I guess I'll run my Thuban for another year or so before upgrading to Intel's NEXT genaration (post IVY Bridge)

Better than Intel? In gaming? NO. Better than FX 8150? YES

AMD's roadmaps indicate a possible Q4 release for Vishera, but that could just as easily slip into a Q1-2013 depending upon yields and such. It certainly has some nice specs; 4GHz, 4.2GHz turbo, 125 TDP.

I wouldn't hold my breath as to how it will compare to Intel, but the vast majority of today's games are GPU dependent anyway, and it will certainly be interesting with the release of Windows 8 as AMD has previously claimed a 10% performance increase over Windows 7 with the FX-8150.
