If the use of a plx chip for 3x sli bothers you, then go for the 2011 set up. I wouldnt go 3820 though.

I have had the 3770, and now the 3930k. I really like both. The 2011 runs a bit hotter, but you get a couple more cores in the deal.

Cant go wrong with either really.

I'd go for 2011. The 3820 is a great OCer and runs quite cool too. Plus you'll have the option of upgrading to a 6 core IB-E later on.
