Perhaps if they had, say, four GPUs onboard. Then it would not be obsolete quite as fast. But imo that is the concern here; the fact that in two years it is going to be USELESS.
Limited or even no resale value there either. I guess that is a goal, get people upgrading their motherboard each year instead of riding out one for three or four.

Yeah really. There is absolutely no way to upgrade this thing for increasing graphical performance. You're stuck with what you bought. In what's suppose to look like a higher end motherboard, not many gamers sit on one graphics card for their cpu/mobo's lifespan.

Yeah, I can't imagine higher end gpu's would be very happy under that passive heatsink. Its probably something like 6770 xfire.

6770 Xfire is still pretty potent, especially if you're only using a single monitor. Bonus points for completely silent running. Put on a HUGE passive CPU cooler, and you've got the makings of an insanely quite computer (case fans only).

I just think it looks awesome and is a kewl concept. yes I agree not for a long term gaming power house, but look at most customers we get, they game on the same system for years lowering settings bit by bit as the system gets older then after 3-5 years they buy a new one.

We are not the norm we are the upgrade whenever something kewl comes out bunch haha, we drive the market, hell my 2 6970's are fast enough but when someone hits you on the head with 2 680's for your wifes system and 2 670's for your own you don't say.. "oh thats ok my systems fast enough" we go HELL YA!!
