Unhappy ASUS mobo flashed bios issues.

Hey guys.
So my friend has an ASUS m5a78l-m lx, and his evening I tried to update the bios for him via the Ezflash method. So I got the latest bios update and put it on a USB, restarted the pc, went into the bios, selected Ezflash and went into myusb drive and selected he update and it said that it was updating. Finally after waiting a bit it finished and said that the update was complete, then it restarted and there was no bios beep, no boot screen no nothing, all fans were running and so on but there was no boot at all.
My question is simple... What went wrong?

Did you try a cmos reset? How about booting with the original driver disk in the ODD (many have a default bios they will try to load, but you need to check the manual).

Why did you update the bios? Updating bios should only be done when there are problems.
