Default GIGABYTE X79-UD5 vs Asus Rampage IV Formula

Hi i need help choosing between these cards to put in a 3820 ,
Overclocking capacity
Features with each board ...
Witch one can be water-cooled in the future ...

I would go with the ASUS. Much more proven than the Gigabyte.

Plus anything I've owned from Gigabyte always seems to have little quirks, where as all the ASUS boards I have are flawless.

I am just the oppsite ,I had will good luck with my Gigabyte EX58-UD5.I have had it over three years and it never gives me trouble don't know about the X79 tough.

The best gigabyte mobo's are p45, x58, the new ud3/5/7 were literally lighting on fire when overclocking, look up the vids on youtube, even professional overclockers were toasting em.

hmm seams that thr Asus Rampage IV formula will be the way to go !! only 4 ram slot but 16gb at 2133 will be good

good p45 n x58 boards

funny in all their existence they only made 2 good intel chipset boards
all the others were a joke compared to others
