Default Cooling NB

I have the p35-ds3l motherboard from gigabyte and the NB gets really hot on this board. I'm really not comfortable with it getting that hot, so I'm leaving everything at stock at the moment. The problem I'm having is I have a ultra 120 extreme cooling my cpu and it doesn't feel like I could fit anything with it. So I'm just wondering if someone with a similar setup could tell me what they did or anyone have any ideas what would fit? Thanks in advance

Just get a little 40mm fan and use some zip ties to hold it in place there. It should cool it fine. Or, and Antec SpotCool fan would do the trick

So a 40mm fan would fit? Would I put that on the side or on top?

The Antec Spot cool does a great job at cooling the Gigabyte's NB. I know, I used to have 3 of them boards and all 3 had their own Spot Cools.

Hmm that seems like a good solution, my only worry is will be okay with my ultra 120 in there? It seems little big. I don't have my computer around me right now and can't remember the exact layout of it, thats why I'm just wondering.

The Spot Cool can be installed on any motherboard standoff screw; the shaft can be curved to reach any location within ~ 3" from the base; the fan cage can pivot to angle the airflow exactly where you need it. I'm using one on a P35C-DS3R along with a IFX-14 with no problem. And the -14 is quite larger than the TRUE.
