Default Can you go to 500FSB?

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with >= 500FSB with the P35 or X38 boards?

What boards are you using to get into that range? and any special modifications-water-cooling, replacing chip-sets, voltage settings etc.

Check this thread out.

Prof Dr Silver was able to get his E6850 up to 8x500 IIRC.

Thats great to see the more mainstream boards are getting up there!!

Once i improve the cooling on the NB and mofsetsill give it a go and aim for the magic 4ghz (500*8).

Default Excuse me?

500MHz is all you think I did? Well....read the thread again! LOL....I actually got her up to 518MHz....but she'd freak out to quick!

Oh and no special cooling here! Or voltmods! Or any other tricks....this is a plain old straight OC!

hey... I have a maximus formula as well and I find my NB and SB temps get pretty high (58-60 degrees) when I push it to 500mhz... does this happen to anyone using a maximus formula?
