Dude! Did you ever check my hardware list? Doesn't look very expensive now does it? I got most of my hardware for free from friends and family....The last money I spend was on my E6600...and that I gave away to someone else! When I say benching table...I simply mean very old desk with a lot of 'old' computer garbage on it! LOL, I wish I had cash to burn though....would make life a lot easier....! At least I would be able to join the latest and greatest trends in computer hardware....

nice job guys-
I know i cant go to 500FSB...hit a brick wall at 480- E6570 runs at (3.8 475FSB) in orthos at 1.42, and under 50oc. Yet anything above-nothing-barely even a post-even with increases in volts to NB., SB, RAM, loose timings-got to fiddle more with the bios

I tried... it was a no-go. I can run at up to 630 @ 5-5-5-15, but it wouldn't boot at that clockspeed with anything but 1:1.

and a lot more won't without more than 2.5v...trust me, i must have had a dozen kits of Ballistix and only one did 600 4-4-4 at <2.5v for even 8M SPi. but 514 4-4-4 shouldn't be a problem.
