Default 14 seconds to boot

After installing my new ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition, whenever I turn on the computer, it takes a full 14 seconds of fans spinning up before the computer beeps and boots up. On my old M2NPV-VM board, this process took all of 2-3 seconds. This is incredibly annoying and if anyone knows any solution to this I would be greatly pleased.

I don't know what that is or where to change it.

Smart Support won't make a difference at all and is good to have turned on.

Don't have smart support or a backlick keyboard.
In my bios I have AMD Live and Cool and Quiet, both of which are disabled.
AMD Virtualization (still not sure what it does) was enabled, but disabling it didn't change anything.

What's your boot order? (Switch it to your HD first, and disable the floppy).

How do you have your HD(s) set up? Are they SATA or IDE? If you aren't doing RAID, have you disabled the raid controller?

Have you tried using the "optimum" settings in bios?

Is there a "boot timer" of some form in the bios that's pegged the wrong way? (There were HD initialization issues a few years back and some bios' were given a "boot delay" setting to allow the HD to get properly spun up before the bios "asked" it how things were going at boot).
