Quick switches on motherboard
 
Does the turn on power switch on the GA-X58A-UD5 motherboard serve the same purpose as shorting the two prongs on f.panel. Also for future ref. is this the reason that the switch is put there.:canadianwave:

prevents from shortting out other stuff the switch onboard, makes easy start
