My System Specs

Default XFX 680i LT - still rockin

bought 2008. Q6600. 1000's of hours gaming.
turned it over to the Mrs for YouVille/Browsing/ShoppingCart/etc.
so its finally showing her age and the north/south bridge fans are going.

anyone recommend some heatsink/fan replacements?

My System Specs

Default

Antec Spot Cool if you don't have to hunt down specific fan sizes - Antec Spot Cool Adjustable System Cooler Blue LED 3 Speed 2000-3000RPM 23-33DBA 15-22CFM - DirectCanada
If you don't mind hacking with your choice of adhesive, Scythe's 40mm Mini Kaze is quiet even at full speed: Scythe Mini Kaze Ultra 40MM Silent Fan 20MM 3500RPM 4.8CFM 19.5DBA 2PIN 3PIN - DirectCanada

If you have thermal adhesive (not compound) you could likely replace the southbridge heat sink with some old piece of metal that sticks out a little more and have it cooled by your case fans.
