My System Specs

Default pci 3.0??

Is the ASUS 990FX Sabertooth mobo gonna be able to run the new gpu's from nvidia when they come out. I know stock they are not PCi 3.0. Will that just take a bios update? Thanks for all the help!

yes. No problem, pcie 3.0 is backwards compatible with pice 2.0

i would like to run the card at 3.0. Does it only take a simple bios update to make the slot 3.0 if they r not already

Negative. Either the board is PCI-E 2.0 or 3.0 and even if its 3.0 it won't make any difference with the new cards.

Heck the LATEST high end cards don't saturate 2.0.
