everything is 7.9 WE except for my 7.7 i5-2500k its pretty sad when my i5-2500k @ 4.5 24/7 gets me 7.7 for windows-experience, everything else gets 7.9, and a single 6950 already got 7.9 but for me currently, the only thing an i7-2600k or an ivy bridge I would speed up is decompression type work, or mp3 editing like slowing down stuff for picking it out for guitar |
can I ask why you care? I think you need a sandy bridge e to get 7.9. my 2600k isn't maxed out on WEI. |
WEI is a rather crappy "test" to see what your system is running at. I swear Microsoft introduced it so pre-builts could easily show off their "performance" to customers that have very little knowledge when it comes to computers. |
Agreed - NOTHING on my rig maxes WEI and I'm not upgrading any time soon to change that. |

I think you missed the part where he said Sandy Bridge E |
does anyone actually have a 7.9 CPU? my 4.2GHz 2600K doesn't max it out...but i think my mobo bios is crappy and its not actually running at those speeds :/ |
The point is WEI is not a credible benchmark, I've seen mid ranged GPUs outscore high end GPUs. I've seen i7s score less than i5 and i3s. |
