New Build Advice
 
CPU: Q6600
MB: Asus P5E
RAM: G.SKILL F2-6400CL5D 2X2GB DDR2-800
Video: Sapphire 3870x2
P/S: Corsair 620HX
Case: Antec SLK3800B reusing old case

I won't be adding a second video card so I'm wondering if I should go with a cheaper MB.

Budget?

If on a low budget, a lower end P35 giga or ASUS board. If higher budget, consider a chipset with PCIe 2.0.

What kind of case are you working with?

And what kind of budget range are you aiming for for a mobo, PSU, and case?

current case is Antec SLK3800B. Budget is around 1100

Well u can check the previous post made by me and see what some of the guys said, I went with the same CPU as you and I just ordered all my other items today. Good luck with the build!
