Yes I believe that is one of the older Socket 603 Xeons. Definitely not compatible with mainstream desktop boards. Like I said earlier, you would need one of the 3000 Series Xeon CPU's. IntelŽ XeonŽ Processor 3000 Sequence Overview

Yup. Keep in mind though, there are other requirements. For example, a E3110 will not work on a board without 45nm CPU support. And the X3210 needs boards that support quadcores. Those kinds of things.
