Koolance' block is probably the best looking motherboard block I've ever seen.

Ok.....

Here's an important update.

The rampage IV extreme is designed to be able to use 1366 socket coolers , with the use of the "X-plate".

Not all 1366 coolers will work !

There's 2 reasons for this : not all 1366 backplates will go over the x-plate , and , some coolers use a top plate that will interfere with components around the socket.

--

A good example : the thermalright venomous X does not work.

Make sure you double check 1366 compatability before you buy , or use a proper socket 2011 setup.

You know what would be sweet for this board? A full cover block that included the cpu.

Interesting.....the VR zone guys managed to get that same heatsink support on.....Either I had a different one , or I was missing parts , because mine wouldnt work.

Whatever , took me 5 mins to modify a 1366 TRUE mount to work.

-----

Here's another update ;

You cannot use any of the bottom motherboard connectors if you put a video card in the very bottom slot , They are too tall.....gotta make lo-profile connectors.

Started testing my new chip, 5Ghz no probem.

Needs a little more voltage than the 3960X but that was expected.
