Default Will my PC Bottleneck?

Good day

I have a Core i5 2500, 8GB Patriot Viper Extreme running at 1866MHz on a Z68 motherboard.

Will I have a bottleneck if I buy the Asus Matrix GTX580?

Bottlenecks always exist. I think your configuration (with a little bit of overclocking on that CPU. I hope you have a K series) will be about as well balanced as it gets though.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't have the K series
Is that a big problem, should I rather get the 2500K?

If you have the option to change it, than yes. A 2500K will allow you easier overclocking with more headroom.

You can get a 2500k for about $10-20 more and overclock the hell out of it. That will eliminate all CPU bottlenecks.
