My System Specs

Default P8p67 or P8Z68

For a system with a dedicated graphics card (ASUS GTX 560)
and a Intel I5 2500k processor, do i have any advantage buying the p8p67-v pro vs the p8z68-v pro motherboard from asus?

Nope. Z68 adds SSD cacheing, so unless you need that (and really, if you use an SSD drive for the o/s it's faster than cacheing) or to have the built in GPU as a backup, nope. P67 will do you fine.

However, ASUS is only releasing boards with PCI-e 3.0 switches via the Z68 chipset --
